The student newsletter of INFORMS, OR/MS Tomorrow is being revived after several years of dormancy. In its revival, we hope it will truly become a community newsletter with many contributions from individual student members of INFORMS as well as the chapters themselves. The following information can be obtained from this newsletter:
Current research findings by
students and practicing professionals Current information regarding
employment in the operations research field
Detailed calendars of national
and local meetings Informs student chapter activities
and success stories.
This combination of information provides a good start, but we need your help!!! If you have any ideas for adding / removing sections please let us know. We hope that this newsletter will truly become a newsletter OF students, FOR students and created BY students. In this way, it will provide value to the student chapters of INFORMS and to all student members.
To help foster this community, we are issuing several calls for papers for our Spring Edition (Articles Section). These calls for papers encourage students and researchers to contribute their research. Even more, we would like to be able to publish information on other student chapters.
So, if you have something to contribute, please send it to either Michele.pfund@asu.edu or Aditya.rastogi@asu.edu.We would be happy to include it in our next edition.
We look forward to publishing this newsletter for the students of INFORMS and hope that it provides value to the community.
